WOW!!  What a busy end of the year!  I didn't even get a chance to post anything on the blog in a while.  I guess busy is good :)  Well anyway,  the end of the year was busy but fantastic.  We finished our wedding season and are now onto 2010!  I turned 30 in November, yeah!  I know, I think I'm the only woman on the planet to be excited about turning 30.  I just feel more experienced now. 

My associate and I just got back from Imaging USA, The BIG PPA photography conference!  It was so much fun!  I cleared out my brain before I left so I could cram as much information into it as possible and I still ran out of room, go figure ;)  It was in Nashville, TN this year and we got to listen to photographers speak such as Jerry Ghionis, Jeff & Julia Woods, The Boudoir Divas Kimberlee & Marissa, and too many more!!  This was my first PPA convention and I will make sure I go every year!  Just being around all those photographers is really inspiring.

Well, onto 2010.  We've already started booking 2011 so it's going to be a FANTASTIC year!!!

Stacey & Jordan’s wedding was one of my favorite all year.  It was a beautiful event at Barefoot Resorts and the weather couldn’t have been better.  You have to know that Stacey is the baby girl of the family and so this wedding was very important to the family especially Mom J  We did a bridal portrait that Stacey and I had a great time even though we got eaten alive by mosquitoes.  By the time the wedding day rolled around I know Stacey was so ready to have it done and over but she was so calm you never would have known how nervous she said she was.  Jordan looked just as nervous but as soon as he saw Stacey you could tell these two were ready to be married.  Everything about this wedding was beautiful!  From the bride to the venue to the bridesmaids to the groomsman.

Maggie and David's wedding I have been looking forward to since I first met with them late last year.  I was not disappointed :)  It was a beautiful event at St. Andrew's Catholic Church and the Reception was at The Embassy Suites at Kingston Plantation.  I have to say I was really nervous though because I knew that her brother was a photographer and so were several friends of theirs.  I was really happy to learn that when they all saw the pictures we had done for the wedding they were really happy with them.  It's always nice to impress another photographer :)

I have finally found a place that is hotter than South Carolina in the Summer:  Montgomery, Alabama!  But it was a beautiful place for a wedding!  This was my last sister to take the plunge.  Her twin was married in 2007.  Gwen is a Womans golf coach at Huntingdon college in Montomery so they got married at the Chapel on Campus.  This thing was around 150 years old and so beautiful.  They had their reception in the backyard at their house.  Luckily they had a pool to keep everyone cool.  And yes, we swam the whole week we were there.

I had the most fun today with my new bride Stacey, who's wedding is September 5th this year.  I had the pleasure of meeting her parents and shooting at their new house they just built in NC.  The house is BEAUTIFUL and the bride was even prettier :)  After shooting at this georgous house, we decided last minute not to go to the beach and her mom knew of this oak lined road that lead to the marsh.  It was perfect.  And played very well with the brides laid back personality.  It couldn't have been more perfect!

Well, I can tell you right now that this wedding is going to be fun!  Stephanie & Brian and I went out to Huntington beach state park today for their engagement session.  They are such a fun couple and you can see it in the pics.  It was a very relaxed but fun session and I think the pics came out great!

Can't wait for the wedding in September!
