I have been waiting for this photo shoot for about a year now.  Miss Ashley booked me for her wedding about a week after she got engaged.  I will never forget that she called me and one of the first sentence out of her mouth was “I just LOVE your work, are you available for April 25^th 2009?”  It’s so flattering when someone loves my work.  I still blush whenever I get a compliment like that (I hope I never stop feeling that way either!J). 

            So on the 15^th of February on a colder than normal day, I drove to Charleston, SC to my favorite place, downtown Charleston.  We all thought it was going to be warmer so they were t-shirts and for most of the time we froze!  Ashley’s mom came with us and, being an aspiring photographer, she brought her camera along and got some shots of the architecture.  She said she had wanted to see what a professional photographer does and I told her that we would have to find her one along the way so we could ask them questions J

            We all had a great time and the photos just came out great!  Most importantly they loved them.  The wedding is just around the corner and I can’t wait.  I’ll be back down in Charleston very soon!

Carolina Studios is participating in the National Charity Model Search to select “America’s Cutest Kid” and to raise funds for charity.

 

We’re looking for cute children ages 18 months to 14 years old to model for a portrait to be entered into the contest.

 

Models Search Special:

$50 entrance fee, which includes a 30 minute model session and one image submitted to the national gallery.

 

Finalists will be determined by online votes. Anyone may vote. Each vote is $1, and all proceeds from votes benefit the non-profit Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. (NILMDTS.org)

Grand prize national winner will be determined from the 50 city finalists. Winners selected by photography and modeling industry experts.

 

If your child is selected the national winner, you’ll receive many prizes, including a $5,000 US Savings Bond and a Canon PowerShot G10 digital camera.
